      • Yeah, the cinematography, costuming, and the overall aesthetic of The Cell were remarkable, and there were some affecting moments, but it also felt rather cliche and emotionally blocked. It’s funny, as I watched this, unknowing of the director’s history, I thought “Wow, way to appropriate from The Cell, right down to the use of dreams as a motor for exposition.”

        It looks better than The Cell, I think, more developed, although I wish the trailer had not gone through so much of the plot. I feel like I have kinda seen the movie already. . . . But it looks intriguing enough to go see.
