Reading: Still finishing up Cowboy Angels. Enjoying it but don’t really dig how the author writes violence. It feels too neat.
For some reason I stopped carrying around my book-bag with me this week and this has led me to leave the novel I’m reading in the dining room and not pick it up.
Planning: A long overdue BW game on Friday night and a long weekend with the ladyfriend. Also, dotting i’s and crossing t’s on my schoolwork’s completion.
Writing: Cover letters, resumes, that kinda thing.
And you?
READING: “Classics and Comics” by Marshall (yes that one) and Kovacs; “Again, Dangerous Visions” by Harlan Ellison.
PLANNING: A move across the country.
WRITING: “ComTrac SDR Product Specification” for next week’s decision review meeting on our research project.
R: Adventure Burner, a bit of 4e stuff (monster books and Dark Sun guide).
P: Four day weekend with the family.
W: Blog entries for my revamped website! I liked the way you set up your blog, so I’ve now got a fancy WordPress thing going on: http://www.harlekin-maus.com
You’re moving across the country? Hopefully to Seattle. I need to rope you in to my bi-annual RPG sessions.
Hah, I thought Judd was moving. Brad, I don’t know who are but I’d be keen to rope you in, too.
Sorry, Zak, I’m going the other way: Vancouver -> Toronto.
Well shoot. You were pretty close already! Diaspora intrigues me despite having about zero practical knowledge of the damn thing.
Reading: Alarums & Excursions #425, Habitation of the Blessed by Catherynne Valente, Fate-Kerberos Club Playtest Packet #6
Planning: Running what will either be the ultimate or penultimate session of Tatters of the King (Call of Cthulhu campaign) on Friday, followed by a weekend of larp production for Intercon K (as we are away the weekend before — little regional gaming con in Jersey y’all may’ve heard tell of…) Paperwork pertaining to parental estates.
Writing: Bits of our larp, Ghost Fu, adding plot without mucking further with character sheets. Cover letters to go with resumes.
It’s the Monday after the following Friday. We survived Larp Production without killing each other or hanging ourselves. And… we’re done a week or so before The. Last. Minute. Yay!
