Sagas of the Icelanders is lodged in my head like an axe. It is a role-playing game based on Apocalypse World and I’m fascinated by the different ways it deals with physical damage, character advancement, and gender (Playbooks and MC Worksheet is here).

My book of sagas is packed away, so I found some links to scratch that itch until I can play the game, read the sagas and maybe watch the Viking TV show on the History Channel.
